What this project is
Global Art Mosaic leverages the power of art to ignite creativity, foster a sense of connection, and process what's going on in the world through visual expression. Participants of all ages were invited to contribute their individual voices around the theme of Transformation to co-create a living "mosaic" reflective of their relationship with their inner and outer worlds.

Together from around the world, we ignited our creativity and co-created a “hive” of thought and feeling, encapsulating the colors and patterns of our individual journeys through the challenges of 2020, observing how each image and story contributed to a greater emergence.

The vision for this mosaic is for it to live in a community center, contributing to the greater community as public art created by hands and hearts from all over the world.
Now that doors are opening back up, organizations who are interested in hosting the Global Mosaic are invited to contact Joanna for a chance to not only participate in this global community initiative, but also to be a hosting site for this co-creative emergence!

Your Art Gives Back
75 trees were planted in honor of our Global Mosaic participants via One Tree Planted and in support of reforestation in Australia. Additionally, 10% of every mosaic kit was also donated to Shri Yoga, a nonprofit in Providence, RI that funds free yoga & mindfulness classes to communities in need.
