"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." C.G. Jung |
I'm living my dreams a professional artist, coach, and yoga teacher. I do what brings my soul alive, and love helping people wake up to their soul's calling.
I have a 15 year background in yoga & mindfulness and have been working as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) since 2016. I've led outdoor adventure clinics and retreats in the US & globally, and in 2020 began leading online transformational leadership circles for a book authored by Julia Cameron that changed my life in 2015, The Artist's Way. After many years of navigating a personal pathway of the Phoenix Rising, it has now become a calling to take the tools that have helped me navigate massive changes and reclaim my centering power and share them with others. I do this through a combination of group & 1 on 1 coaching, public speaking, retreats, teaching, and writing. |
As someone who has completely transformed my own life through coaching, somatic & mindfulness practices, and self-study, I wholeheartedly believe in the power of this inner work (we call this Svādhyāya in yoga) to bring forth the deepest callings of one's soul. This fascinates the neuroscience nerd in me just as much as it appeals to my inner mystic.
"Be the change you seek in the world." In an era where we're individually and collectively witnessing a breakdown of old systems and paradigms, the way of the future offers an invitation to each of us to reclaim our centering power as sovereign, creative, resilient beings. We can do this through mindfulness practices, which can be accessed through so many different modalities, from martial arts, to formal meditation, breathwork, art therapy, prayer, expressive writing, and more.
Whatever your preferred pathway in, any formal practice ultimately builds the mental/emotional/spiritual muscles that they allow us to move beyond the fears and anxieties of the mind and access deeper levels of truth and wisdom. It is here, in this still, quiet place, where things like innovation, creativity, empathy, and presence, are much more easily able to manifest in the external world. In my teaching, I like to describe this the pathway as being like two wings of the Phoenix - where the wing of mindfulness meets that of compassion. When both wings find their expression, we're able to activate our true resilient potential, and courageously take flight to new horizons. |
